Hello everyone, my name is Alex!
I have been working with pets for the last 20 years. While living in Southeast Alaska, I started pet sitting professionally and have grown this passion to full time work now in Austin, Texas. Going from the snow and ice and rain climate to the warm and humid climate has been a wonderful shift and change.
I has been living in Austin, TX now since 2010. Previous to working as a full time dog walker/ pet care professional I have worked as a registered nurse, special education teaching assistant, health food store cashier, and as small scale gardener. I also love gardening, holistic medicine, travel, vegetarian cooking, meditation, sustainable building, drumming, martial arts, improv comedy, and nature walks.
